Diagnostic Testing

Ultrasound guided procedures are the core of modern vascular treatments. The ultrasound is critical to determine whether a specific artery or vein is open or blocked. This is a non-invasive technique that visualizes the artery with sound waves to measure blood flow through the arteries and veins, allowing the physician to target the problem area and determine the most effective treatment.  The care plan can determine ways to increase blood flow to the legs and feet, decrease leg pain, reduce or eliminate ulcers and sores, increase mobility and even save an affected limb.

After carefully reviewing the ultrasound, you will meet with the physician to discuss the results and determine the treatment options.
